Maruti Suzuki has given the Dzire notchback a visual tweak for the Indian market with, as the Allure Edition, it is basically an accessory kit added to the exteriors as well as interiors of the regular model.
Exterior-wise, the Dzire Allure edition gets chrome detailing on the window line, chrome bumper corner protectors, new side skirts, body graphics and a chrome-finished Allure badge on the boot lid. All other design elements remain identical to the standard model.
Inside, the Dzire Allure edition gets a new dual tone (beige & chocolate) seats and steering covers, door sill guards, new floor mats, ambient lighting and Allure branded pillows. The cabin also comes with faux wood garnished on the centre console and door pads.
Hertz branded sound system – including speakers, woofer and an amplifier is offered as optional. The standard Allure the special edition kit can be fitted at an additional cost of Rs 27,000, while the car equipped with the optional audio system will fetch you upto Rs 38,000 more.
The Dzire Allure edition is available across all variants and colour options. However, there are no mechanical changes made to the special edition model. The two engine options available are; a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel. Both engines come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, while the diesel is also available with an AMT option.
The company is also working on a third-gen Dzire which is expected to launch by end-2017.
