Mahindra and Mahindra has been seeing the volumes of their products go-up constantly and the company has been doing really good in the SUV department. The company does not want to stop at the SUV segment. It intends on venturing into other segments as well and today we have for you the company’s roadmap for the years ending 2015.
The first in line will be the launch of the Verito CS whose spyshots have already skipped on to the interweb. The car will compete with the likes of the Dzire CS and Indigo CS. The Verito CS will be launched around April-May 2013. After the budget for the year 2013 is announced, the company also intends on launching its Mahindra Reva E20 which is an electric vehicle.
2015 will see the company’s old workhores, Scorpio undergo a major change and the next genration of the SUV will hit the roads then. Till then the car will keep on getting mild refreshes. Mahindra also intends on launching a Compact SUV which will be placed below the Quanto in terms of pricing and should have no problems in becoming a success, seeing that Quanto has managed to garner a lot of fans.
Next in line will be a sub-4-lakh car which will mark the company’s entry into the volume segment. The company has been developing new engines to power these cars. Mahindra has gained the majority share of the SUV segment and with a planned onslaught in the next three years, we certainly see Mahindra competing with the Japanese and Korean in India as well as globally.
