Back in the year 2010, the ‘Mahindra Stallio 110’ commuter motorcycle was launched by Mahindra Two Wheelers, soon after the company bought Kinetic Engineering’s two wheeler business. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan had unveiled this motorcycle, which just lasted a few months in the market, before it was pulled off to fix gearbox gremlins.
It will be back on the streets by early-2013 when Mahindra will re-launch the Stallio in the Indian commuter motorcycle market, but this time, the Stallio will be called the ‘Panthero 110’. Meanwhile, we were able to spot an interesting and surprising detail in the song ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, from the movie ‘Talaash’ – the ‘Panthero 110’, which makes an appearance in this song.
Product placements in movies are a big business these days, so this isn’t something out of the blue. You could easily notice in the movie ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’, that the Royal Enfield Thunderbird was a major part of the props in the movie, being present even during the movie’s turning points. Now coming back to the Panthero 110, the motorcycle will be powered by an 110cc four stroke engine that puts out 7.3 Bhp of peak power and 8Nm of peak torque.
