Mahindra 2 Wheelers has announced the price of their recently unveiled 110cc motorcycle, the Pantero. Just like the other Mahindra 2 Wheelers, this too will be launched in a phase wide manner across the country and the recent launch was in Chennai. The price, ex-showroom Chennai, begins at Rs. 44,190 for the base version of the Pantero.
The Pantero is powered by 106.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled MCi-5 engine (Microchip ignited 5-curve engine), which produces 8.5bhp at 8500rpm and torque of 8.5Nm at 5500rpm. The MCI-5 engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox and the Pantero boasts of an ARAI certified mileage of 79.4 kmpl. This motorcycle also features a fully digital instrument cluster with tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge and clock. It also sports LED tail lamps and LED pilot lamps.
The Pantero is being offered in 4 colors namely Fiery Red, Blazing Black Cool Black and Sterling Silver. Mahindra is manufacturing the Pantero at its Pithampur plant in Indore. The bike will compete with the likes of Bajaj Discover, Hero Splendor, Suzuki Hayate, Honda Dream Yuga, Yamaha Crux etc…
