Mahindra inaugurates technical center in North America

Mahindra and Mahindra have recently inaugurated their new technical centre at Troy, Michigan in North America. This will be the first such Mahindra technical centre in US and will employ a total of 25 engineers which will be increased twofold in the future. The Centre will serve as a base for Mahindra in the US to tackle engineering demands be it for their automotive and farm engineering segments. Through the facilities at this centre, M&M will be able to offer 24×7 engineering services to their customers.

Troy Centre will be scaled up in due course with a special recruiting department set up in the US. Mahindra Group has a sizeable presence in North America where information technology, tractors and aerospace is concerned. They sell tractors through Mahindra USA while IT is managed by Satyam, Tech Mahindra and Bristlecone and GrippAERO manufactures aircrafts for Mahindra Aerospace.

Mahindra’s investment in this portrays their competitive business standing in the country. It is their goal to concentrate on new and existing business, help them locate, grow and offer enhanced services in the city of Troy. Troy has a strong presence in Automotive Research and Development due to the availability of talented workforce, business friendly policies and proximity to important markets in North America.
