Toyota’s luxury arm Lexus hosted a private event to showcase its line-up to prospective customers at JW Marriott Hotel in Bangalore.
Lexus RC-F can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.5 seconds & hit a top speed of 268 kmph
Nothing much about the event is known at the moment, but it was the first Indian public appearance, and only selected guests had the chance to see brand’s initial models. Seen in the picture, the Lexus RC-F donning an optional Carbon pack wears a Solar Flare exterior paint scheme, which contrasts nicely with the enlarged black spindle grille and metallic gray wheels.
According to the anonymous photographer, other models at the event included the RX 450h, and 3 more unknown models (we guess might be the ES 300h, LX 570 and LX 450d). These 5 products that will launch the brand in India will initially be imported into the country via the CBUs (Completely-Built-Unit) route.

The company is stressing more on hybrid models, as the custom duty for import of hybrid vehicles is lesser than regular vehicles. Furthermore, they can avail benefit from the FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric and hybrid vehicles) scheme’s subsidy which stand at Rs 1.38 lakh for large hybrid cars.
Initially, Lexus brand will open two showrooms in Mumbai and New Delhi later depending on demand, more sales and service outlets will expand to other cities in India.
