Yes, and that the motorcycle is made in India, is the icing on the cake. It has been getting good reviews from international journalists for some time. This happened when TVS started to export India made BMW G310GS to International markets.
TVS will make the BMW G310GS in its Hosur plant and are also planning on launching the Apache RR310S. The Apache RR 310S will be based on the G310GS and will go on floors as early as next-month. Both are expected to be powered by a 313cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor giving 34 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
International Auto Journalists have praised for the quality of the G310 GS.
It is good to see TVS matching International standards for quality and that may prove vital in the long-run. Reliability and solidity of BMW motorcycles abroad have been excellent, so we hope the India made ones may also turn that way. The G310GS is set to rival the KTM Duke 390 and Yamaha YZF R3, also good internationally in quality.
