2013 Hyundai Santro Celebration Edition
India’s second largest car manufacturer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has completed its 15 years in the Indian automotive industry, and in order to celebrate this milestone the company has launched a ‘Celebration Edition’ for its most popular Santro Xing hatchback. The Santro has been the first flagship model of Hyundai India. It was launched in year 1998 and is one of the popular and reliable cars in India, even today.
The changes on the exterior comprise of sporty body graphics rear chrome garnish and a set of parking sensors (which house an LED display inside). On the inside, the Santro Xing Celebration Edition will feature a manual rear curtain, new set of floor mats and a Blaupunkt audio system. Apart from this, Hyundai also offers the Santro Xing at a finance rate of 7.44%.
The celebration edition Santro Xing is available only in the GL Plus model. The choice of colors available are limited to Coral White, Sleek Silver and Mushroom but you can have it in Petrol, LPG and CNG fuel options. The price for the celebration edition Xing is Rs 3.81 lakh (ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
Seeing this move, we anticipate that the announcement in regards to the Celebration Edition of Santro Xing could be result of exhausting the current stock since the hatch has been witnessing a regular dip in sales, and with the competition heating we expect it to drop further.
