Hyundai India scheduled to launch new Sonata Fluidic on 7th March

Hyundai India is all set to launch its luxury sedan New Hyundai Sonata Fluidic this year, now the recent reports reveal that it may see a launch on 7th March, 2012. The premium sedan by Korean carmaker was displayed at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo this year. Initially, it will only be launched in petrol variant, which will have 6-speed manual as well as automatic transmission option. The 2012 Hyundai Sonata will be in straight competition with Volkswagen Passat and Honda Accord. Hyundai Motors are expected to price this global vehicle competitively in the range of INR 16-18 Lakh.

It’s been long since the second largest carmaker has launched any proper premium sedan in the country that can take on the likes of the cream carmakers. The sedan features the most alluring ‘Fluidic ideology’ on the exteriors, which grants it a look that is mesmerizing, as showcased at the Auto Show.  Around the globe it is called as the most tempting Hyundai sedan.

The New Hyundai sedan will have all the comfort and convenient feature of true luxury sedan. The elements of leather seats and 10-way electrically flexible seats that will come ventilated for the front occupants or the driver will make way into the premium interiors of the sedan. The features like ABS, EBD and ESP along with air bags for occupants will take care of the safety concerns in the New Sonata. While the 2.4L GDI petrol engine will sit under the hood delivering a maximum power of 200 bhp and peak torque of around 255 Nm.
