Hyundai Motors India is all-set to begin a new chapter in India with launch of the Hyundai Creta on 21st July, ahead of its official launch the SUV has been spotted at a dealer yard in unknown location.
As BA readers know that the company has started accepting bookings for the Creta SUV at its dealership across India. It will compete against Ford EcoSport, Mahindra Scorpio, Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. It is speculated to be offered with the ex-showroom price ranging from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
The Creta will be offered in one petrol engine option and 2 diesel engine options. The petrol variant gets the 1.6-liter Dual VTVT unit, while the diesel range includes the 1.4-liter CRDi and the 1.6-liter CRDi All engines will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission while the Creta 1.6 liter diesel SX variant will also receive a 6-speed automatic transmission option.
The petrol trim would be offered in three trims namely Creta L (base), Creta S and SX+, whereas the diesel trim with 1.4-litre diesel engine option will be offered in Creta L, S and S+ followed by SX, SX+ and SX (O) variants in diesel variant enriched with 1.6-litre diesel engine. Top-end variant sports ABS, EBD, VSM and HAC along with a 7” touchscreen AVN system, reverse camera and smart entry with engine starter button. As well as dual front airbags besides side and curtain airbags.
