Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India unveiled its latest 160cc bike for India, the new CB Unicorn 160. Priced at Rs 69,350 for the standard variant which comes with a front disc brake and rear drum setup, and the top-end variant Combi-Brake system equipped CB Unicorn 160 costs Rs 74,414 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The CB Unicorn 160 is claimed to offer fuel efficiency of 62 kmpl.
As said earlier today, the styling resembles a mixture of Honda CB Unicorn and CB Trigger. The headlamps and the tail lamps have been restyled slightly while the rest of the panels apart from the fuel tank and saree guard being new units. This premium commuter bike from Honda will sit on 6-spoke 17” inch alloy wheels and will receive an LED tail light, a chrome-finished muffler and floating side cowls.
Under the skin, as the name suggests, the CB Unicorn 160 has a new 163cc HET-enabled engine which makes 14.5Bhp of power and 14.61Nm of torque. This motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Honda claims that the CB Unicorn 160 will do a genuine top speed of 106kmph while the fuel efficiency will be 62kmpl. The motorcycle will be available in six colors including Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Black, Geny Grey Metallic and Sunbeam White.
The Honda CB Unicorn 160 is expected to roll out of the dealerships in January-2015.
