Hero Honda is now Hero MotoCorp and the company revealed its new identity at a mega event in London, UK. The new Hero MotoCorp logo was launched at London’s o2 arena. Along with the identity, Hero also launched a new 150cc bike – Impulse and an 110cc scooter – Maestro. These will be first products under the new brand.
The dashing Indian cricketing all-rounder Irfan Pathan introducing a new masculine 110cc scooter called “Maestro”. The trapezoidal headlamp with visor and combination tail light console makes the “Maestro” an eye-catcher on the road. The scooter is expected to be priced very competitively between Rs. 45,000 to Rs.55,000.
The new 110 cc scooter “Maestro” comes with a New Generation V-Matic engine and Advanced Microprocessor Ignition (AMI) with TCIS for a flawless performance. Its variomatic drive delivers optimum power and seamless acceleration at all speeds. “Maestro” has a stunning digital–analog meter console, with service indicator that lets the user know when the service is due. Scooter is equipped with a combi-brake system (like in Activa), magnetic head ignition key with shutter and tuff-up tubes that gives you unmatched safety and convenience. The anti-slip texture of the floor area and foldable pillion foot peg adds to the safety of the rider.
The specifications and prices of the above were not announced and the officials promise to do the same at the products’ official launch in India, expected to take place later this year. But since we know that the two halves, Hero and Honda, are still in an agreement where Honda is supposed to deliver technical aid till the year 2014.
