BA readers know Pune-based Garware Motors in partnership with Korean company S&T Motors, manufacturer of Hyosung brand of bikes known globally for its superbike range, plans of introducing bikes in the 250 CC to 400 CC category in 2012 in India. Being confident over the versatility the company offers, it has more ambitious plans for India including the introduction of its electric bike range.

The company has introduced three superbikes during the year, Hyosung 650R, Hyosung ST7 and the recently launched Hyosung GT650N naked bike. Now the company is all set to deliver more with its Hyosung GT250R, 250CC model.

Though GT250R will be launched as confirmed, no confirmation has been given on which model, full fairing or naked, will come first. But with all hope the full fairing version will be introduced first. The pricing is quite high to be competitive enough with Honda CBR250R but you never know how customers would react to it.

The motorcycle, which is basically a smaller capacity version of the Hyosung GT650R features a 250cc, liquid cooled DOHC V-Twin engine that produces 29 Bhp of peak power and 22 Nm of peak torque.
