Earlier this-year, Ford India had introduced a Platinum Edition on the Ford EcoSport that came with an 8.0-inch AVN touchscreen infotainment system as well as some cosmetic changes on the exterior.
Now, the company has decided to offer the 8.0-inch AVN touchscreen infotainment system even on the Titanium and Titanium Plus variants of the EcoSport. This system has embedded satellite navigation, a rear view camera, door ajar warning, a DVD playback along with USB, AUX and radio connectivity.
However, the Ecosport’s 8-inch unit doesn’t offer smartphone connectivity options like Apple CarPlay and Mirrorlink, like on the Maruti Vitara Brezza (exclusive to top-end ZDI+ variant).
Apart from the touchscreen, no other changes have been made. The Titanium range doesn’t get the gloss black roof nor the 16-inch dual tone alloy rims, which is restricted to the fully-loaded Platinum variant. Prices for the Titanium grade starts at Rs 9.09 lakh for the 1.5L petrol and Rs 9.69 lakh for the 1.5L diesel (all prices ex-showroom).
