Recently, Fiat India had announced its expansion plans across the country and also its plans to introduce more variants in the Punto and Linea line-up. Also the company had announced to re-launch the Linea T-Jet from April, 2013 “Fiat to offer 2013 Linea T-Jet from April 1”and so as promised, the wait is finally over. The Linea T-Jet variant is now re-listed in the company’s official website and is also offered with hosts of new feature.
The 2013 Linea T-Jet will carry on with existing 1.4 litre T-Jet engine, which can produce a 114bhp and a 200Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. The T-Jet will be offered in the Dynamic and Emotion. The car is equipped with features like rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and also features a raised ground clearance of 185mm compared to the earlier 170mm.
On the inside, the Linea T-Jet will feature dual tone interiors, integrated music system and voice activation technologies (BLUE&ME™) along with many other features are added to give the premium feel to the car. Although the details of the Linea T-Jet are made available on the company website the price of the T-Jet version is yet to be announced (as seen above).
