Fiat India, though not participating in the 2012 Auto Expo, has launched their revamped Linea sedan earlier today at an event in New Delhi for a base price of Rs 6.83 lacs(ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Fiats now get new interiors theme colors and the option of a new exterior color, Oceanic Blue. Also, the ground clearance has been increased to 185mm while.

All new Fiat Linea is available in both petrol and diesel powered engine options. For the petrol option, Fiat Linea comes with a 1.4L FIRE engine generating 90 PS power and 115 Nm torque while for the diesel option, 2012 Linea heart beats with a 1.3L Multijet generating 93 PS power and 209 Nm torque.
As far as mileage is concerned, Linea petrol gives a mileage of 14.6 kmpl while Linea diesel gives a mileage of 20.4 kmpl. As expected, the updates have come at a price, and there is an increase of approximately Rs 50,000 on the price tag of every model in both cars’ ranges.
