Shah Rukh Khan has now presented a brand new Mercedes GL-Class SUV to Farah Khan, his friend and director of the movie “Happy New Year.” Farah was quite excited by this gorgeous new addition to her garage. She even tweeted a picture of herself with SRK in front of the SUV. It has been reported that the two even went for a ride on the new Mercedes Benz GL-Class SUV.
SRK gifts Mercedes-Benz GL-Class
It is not for the first time that Farah Khan has been showered by gifts from the King Khan. Shah Rukh has gifted her cars earlier whenever they have worked together in a film directed by Farah. During Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na, SRK gifted Farah with a Mercedes-Benz. Happy New Year also casts Deepika Padukone, Vivaan Shah, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan and Sonu Sood.
The Mercedes-Benz GL-Class SUV is a mesmerizing beauty. This car was launched in the Indian market in the year 2013. At the time of its launch, the car carried a price tag of Rs. 77.5 lakhs. Mercedes Benz GL Class SUV has 3 rows with seating capacity of 7 individuals. It is a full sized SUV. This car has been powered by a 3 L V6 diesel engine that is powerful enough to produce a power output of 260 PS and torque of 619 Nm. This engine has been coupled with 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission. Mercedes Benz GL Class SUV flaunts its 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.
Mercedes Benz has also launched its GL 63 AMG recently in India. It is a high performance version of the Mercedes GL Class SUV and is equipped with a 5.5 L biturbo V8 engine that will deliver a power output of 550 HP and a torque of 760 Nm. It has been priced at Rs 1.66 crores.
