DSK-Benelli has officially launched the TNT 600i model with switchable ABS in India priced at Rs 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The addition of a switchable ABS system is a much-needed safety feature which is absent in almost all the big Benellis. This switchable ABS system is for those who like stoppies and locking the rear wheel, as they can turn-off the ABS. Apart from the availability of ABS system there are no other changes to the motorcycle.
With an ABS system, the TNT 600i is priced around Rs. 40,000 higher than the non-ABS model. Despite the price increase of 40k, the TNT 600i is still the most affordable inline 4-cylinder motorcycle on-sale in India. The company has confirmed that the ABS will be offered as a standard feature across its entire range of products in the Indian market.
The TNT 600i is powered by 600cc, inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 84 BHP @ 11,500 rpm & maximum torque of 54.6 Nm @ 10,500 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
