An installation in the design of a car, made from 200,000 sticks of cigarettes by anti-tobacco campaigners, is displayed at a shopping mall on the eve of World Anti-Tobacco Day in Mumbai on May 30, 2010. India is the world’s second-largest producer and consumer of tobacco behind China, according to the American Cancer Society and the World Lung Foundation. About a fifth of Indians, or 241 million people, use tobacco in some form.
