Mr. Dilip Chhabria known as DC is one of the most successful designer or we can say one of the best modifiers to give a completely whole new look to the existing one in the Indian market. Now DC has unveiled the production version of the country’s first real sportscar, the DC Avanti at the 2014 Auto Expo last month.
The production version of the DC Avanti features 19″ inch alloy wheels, 330 mm disc brakes for all the four wheels, ABS, EBD and SRS airbags as the part of standard equipment provided. It also features prominently displayed DC logo at the rear, Angular B pillars, revised headlamp reflectors with integrated fog lamps, LED turn indicators and winglets on the hood scoop aimed at improving aerodynamics.

Coming to the technical specifications, the DC Avanti is powered by 2.0-litre Ford EcoBoost turbo petrol motor coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission producing maximum power of 250 BHP at a maximum torque of 360 Nm. It covers 0-100 kmph sprint in just less than 8 seconds. However the top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph. The DC Avanti is expected to be priced between INR 25 and 30 lakhs.
