The Datsun GO+ is set to launch on the 15th of January 2015. I will keep you guys updated if I find anymore information about the MPV. It is the second vehicle from Nissan’s budget brand to be launched in India and will be offered here in four variants and a single engine option.

The GO+ is India’s first-of-its-kind sub-4-metre compact MPV, which is more-or-less a large five-seater hatchback with a flexible third row, best suited for children or your dog. It is 3995 mm long, 1635 mm wide and 1485 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2450 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm.

Powering the GO+ is the same engine as the GO hatchback – a 1198 cc, 3-cylinder, petrol engine that produces 67 bhp @ 5000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque @ 4000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox. It has an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 20.62kmpl. A diesel variant is not on offer.

On the inside, the GO+ has a 7 seater layout. The rest of the interior is similar to that of the GO hatchback. Equipment levels are low and include an air-conditioner, front power windows, a mobile dock with AUX-in and USB charger, speakers, central locking and follow-me home headlights.

The Go+ like its hatchback siblings has absolutely no safety features, even as optional.
