BMW India today launched its all new 2013 X6 facelift, the sporty crossover is a high performance vehicle that combines the performance and agility of a sportscar with the higher ground clearance and street presence of an SUV. The 2013 X6 Crossover is launched in two trims, the XDrive50i is priced at Rs 93.4 lakh while the XDrive40d costs Rs 78.9lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
The changes in the exterior, include a LED headlamps, a new front grille and bumper job, new fog lamp housings and LED tail lamps. We also see the addition of 19-inch alloy wheels as a standard option on all the variants. On the inside, space has received both facial and technical facelift. One of these is the addition of carbon fibre inserts to the dashboard and door trims, we can also see the X6 interiors garbed in all-new leather upholstery and featuring the updated iDrive system.
As far as mechanical changes are concerned, the engine specifications remains are the same, with a 3.0-litre 235bhp diesel V6 and 4.4-litre 408bhp petrol V8. The petrol X6 has a top speed of 240 kmph and a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of just 5.4 seconds, whereas the diesel X6 has a top speed of 236 kmph and a 0-100 kmph time of 6.5 seconds. Both the engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
In terms of features, it comes loaded with many safety features like ABS, Airbags, ESP etc… It also features iDrive infotainment system with built in GPS navigation, leather seats, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, new design alloys to name a few. The 2013 BMW X6 will be available in Alpine White (non-metallic), Black Sapphire, Deep Blue Sea, Marrakesh Brown, Midnight Blue, Space Grey, Orion Silver, Titanium Silver and Vermillion Red.
