It keeps to strict emission norms and is designed and equipped with powerful engines which are excellent for handling tough road conditions.

This could allow BMW India to price the 3-series sedan variants more competitively. The luxury sedan would be showcased 2012 Detroit motor show. Sales in India are likely to begin once the right-hand-drive variants are made available closer to mid 2012. As such the new 3-series BMW sedan would reach India by the end of 2012 with a price range of Rs. 22-35 lakh.
