The Hyundai Creta, which was launched in the Indian car market on July-2015 was on-sale in 3 petrol and 7 diesel, a total of 10 grades. However, the automatic transmission was only limited to diesel variant.
Now the company has silently introduced an automatic variant coupled to the petrol motor of the Hyundai Creta. Priced at Rs. 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), the dealerships have already started accepting bookings at Rs. 25,000. But the dealers are not specifying a delivery period that means customers have to wait for months.
The Creta petrol is powered by a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder engine that puts out 121 BHP @ 6,400 rpm and 151 Nm of torque @ 4,850 rpm. The automatic gearbox is a conventional 6-speed unit powering the front wheels. Fuel efficiency figure haven’t been revealed yet.
The Korean car-maker is also working on the S+ variant of the Creta diesel with an automatic transmission to launch in coming months.
