Audi has launched the Q7 petrol in the Indian market which completes all Audi models with at least one petrol-powered variant on sale in India, except Q5 that is due for a new generation model in the country.

Priced starting at Rs. 67.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Q7 becomes the second Audi SUV to be offered with a petrol engine option in the country, and will help customers who are shying away from diesel cars. Powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol unit that develops 252 BHP of power and 370 Nm of torque paired with a 8-speed automatic transmission sends power to all the 4 wheels via Audi’s Quattro drive system.

The petrol-powered Q7 sprints from 0-100 KMPH in 6.8 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than its diesel-powered sibling, the 45 TDI. The ARAI certified fuel-efficiency for the petrol Q7 is clocked at 11.68 KMPL. As far as features-list is concerned, the petrol-powered Q7 (40 TFSI) mirrors that of the ones found on the diesel-fed variants – the 45 TDI Quattro Premium Plus and the 45 TDI Quattro Technology.
