Apple’s personal assistant Siri coming to invade cars within next year

Apple Siri

At the recently concluded Apple Worldwide Developers Conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the company’s CEO Tim Cook confirmed that the Siri personal assistant will soon be offered in your car.

Cook also added saying that within the next 12 months, drivers will be able to push a button on the steering wheel that will connect them directly with the Siri personal assistant.

A bunch of automakers including BMW, General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Audi, Toyota, Chrysler and Honda have signed on for the experience. Ford and Hyundai are not on the list the reason behind is that they have already joined hands with Microsoft to create similar systems on their vehicles.

I for one, can’t wait for the service.
