Force Motors has introduced its architecture for the next generation of monocoque van panels (codenamed: T1N). The new architecture supports both traditional and hybrid powertrains.
The T1N platform has been designed to meet the current crash safety requirements including the rollover safety, according to the manufacturer. It has ventilated disk brakes on all four wheels and safety aids such as EBD, EDTC and ESP with ABS. This also comes with transverse parabolic springs and independent front suspension.
It offers 25 first-in-segment features. The T1N platform uses a 2-box configuration keeping the engine fully outside which ensures least NVH in passenger compartment. It comes powered by a diesel engine conforming to BS6 with a peak torque of 350 Nm. Force will also offer a CNG version of this vehicle, apart from the full-electric ones.
The architecture for the next generation monocoque van panel has been designed and developed for both internal combustion engines and 100 per cent electric drive. Currently, this new platform is undergoing final validation and homologation phases, after which it will be unveiled before its introduction in December 2020 at the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo.
