Looks like somebody wasn’t careful: Folks at CarWale have managed to capture the upcoming Tata Nexon prototype on-test in Maharashtra – with very little camouflage on tailgate and rear bumper.
These images show a stylish rear end, with a dual-tone finish. We can see a horizontal narrow black stripe that runs across the tailgate and likely a ceramic strip on top of it dominates the diamond-shaped tail-lights. Also note the pinched rear styling with the small rear windshield and a well sculpted rear bumper, along with the rear fog lights installed.
Speculated to launch in March-2017, the Nexon will compete with the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300. Engine lineup will include a 1.5-liter 4 cyl diesel engine producing110 PS and 260 Nm of torque, and a 1.2-litre 3 cyl turbocharged petrol engine, developing as much as 120 PS. Apart from a 6-speed manual gearbox, AMT variants also on cards.
