Toyota Innova Crysta is certainly one of the most awaited cars in this year. The unofficial bookings for the vehicle has already commenced at many authorized dealerships at a minimum deposit of Rs. 50,000, the official launch is scheduled for May 03, 2016.
Once launched, the Innova Crysta will be one of the most feature-packed MPVs in the market. It features a smart entry system with start/stop button, cruise control, powered driver’s seat, 7-inch audio system with navigation, automatic climate control with rear cooler, airbags as standard along with ABS, EBD and BA, auto-close for tailgate, front seat with easy slide from rear, 1-touch tumble for 2nd row seats and 1-touch 3rd row space up seats.
Based on the new IMV platform, the Innova Crysta is underpinned by an improved ladder frame chassis and more powerful downsized engines. It will be on-sale in two diesel engine options – 2.4-litre 4 cyl diesel engine producing 149 PS and 343 Nm of torque, while the other is a 2.8-litre 4 cyl diesel engine develops177 PS and 360 Nm of torque. Gearbox options include 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. An AT option is only available in the base GX and top-end ZX grade.
The Innova Crysta is targeted at the family car buyers and the prices are set to be more expensive than the outgoing model.
