Launched in October-2015 petrol and diesel versions, Maruti Suzuki Baleno automatic CVT option was only available on the petrol version of the Delta variant, which had limited number of features equipped.
Priced at Rs 7.47 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi), the Baleno petrol automatic variant is now available in the higher Zeta grade with additional features that are not available on the Delta. Exterior-wise include a chrome door handles, alloy wheels, UV cut glasses and front fog lamps.
Other noteworthy features include auto headlamps, follow-me home headlamps, auto dimming IRVM, leather-wrapped steering, telescopic steering, front centre arm rest with a storage bin, height-adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry & go, glove box illumination, luggage room illumination, front foot well illumination and an MID with a colour TFT screen.
The Baleno automatic CVT is powered by the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine sending power to front wheels via CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission). Delivering an ARAI-certified fuel mileage of 21.4 KMPL, it develops 84 PS and 114 Nm of torque. It other variants, a 5-speed manual gearbox is fitted as standard.
