Remember that aggressive praiseworthy designed motorcycle from TVS that we saw at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo last-year? It was called the TVS Draken Concept and word is that it previews the next-generation TVS Apache RTR, an important motorcycle for the Indian market.
Now the folks at IwanBanaran have managed to snap the rear and the rear three quarter view of the upcoming Apache motorcycle, which depicts a production version of the Draken Concept on Indonesian roads.
While the bike is heavily camouflaged, these new set of spy pictures reveal the entire tail-section featuring an LED tail-lamp cluster, clear-lens indicators, rear number plate mounts, rear fender and unique twin-port exhaust pipes. Other highlights include meatier tubless tyres, new black alloys, clip on raised handle bars and good pillion split grab rails.
The recent report states that the motorcycle will get 200cc 4-valve SOHC engine producing around 25 PS peak power and 20 Nm peak torque, the engine will be mated to a 6-speed transmission. Although the engine details are scarce for now, the report further reveal that the engine will be tuned for high torque and still it would be the fastest bike in its segment.
While it was rumoured to get liquid-cooled engine, the recent spy pictures suggest TVS has opted for an air-cooled engine along with an oil-coolers like the one on Bajaj Pulsar 220F, Hero Karizma ZMR and the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan.
