Nissan India couple of weeks earlier introduced the ‘Anniversary edition’ of its compact SUV Nissan Terrano to mark the 1st Anniversary in the Indian Market.
Nissan Terrano Anniversary Edition is limited to 450 units
The ‘Anniversary edition’ comes loaded with distinctive sporty features features include twin racing stripes on the bonnet, blacked-out roof and door pillars and a rear spoiler. Side steps on either side provide easier ingress and egress from the vehicle, while adding muscle to Terrano’s side profile. A chrome garnish strip on the tailgate and chrome door handles enhance the premium feel.
On the inside, the ‘Anniversary Edition’ gets a head-up display. A premium feature aimed at providing vital info to the driver, the head-up display projects driving information on to a screen in the line of sight of the driver. The unit can be paired with navigation apps on smartphones via Bluetooth and displays directions along with time and vehicle speed.
The introduction of a Heads-up display is a first for a car under Rs 15 lakh in India
The XV D THP gets reverse parking sensors, driver seat height adjustment and a leather wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob. The Premium variant adds leather seats and ‘zebra wood’ finish for the front and rear door armrests. It is available in five colors – Bronze Grey, Blade Silver, Fire Red, Sterling Grey, Storm white to Pearl White.
The compact SUV will also have an ‘Anniversary edition’ emblem to highlight the special edition and will be available in two variants (both Diesel) – XVD THP (110 PS) & XVD THP Premium (110 PS).
Anniversary Edition gets a black contrast roof
The anniversary edition is available only with the 110PS diesel, the 1.5-litre K9K diesel with variable-geometry turbo inter-cooled diesel that gathers 108.5bhp (110PS) of max power at 3900rpm and 248Nm of peak torque at 2250rpm. The motor is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and delivers an ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.01 kmpl. The compact SUV has received an overwhelming success ever since its launch in October last year selling more than 24,000 units across the country.
And how much for all this you ask? The Terrano ‘Anniversary Edition’ XVD THP is priced at Rs. 12,83,645, while the XVD THP Premium bears a price tag of Rs. 13,13,725, both prices ex-showroom New Delhi. The vehicle can only be booked online with a payment of Rs. 10,000 (fully refundable amount). Nissan says you can visit nearest showrooms but dealer can also assist you through online booking. There are only 450 units of the limited edition Terrano available for purchase.
