2015 Hyundai Compact SUV spotted testing in South Korea
The upcoming compact SUV from Hyundai is one the most talked mini SUV’s. Spy shots, artist rendering or may it be any news towards further development of the SUV towards launch, we have had it all. Now as the development phase comes to an end few more test mules were spotted testing on roads in South Korea.
This time too, the test mules were heavily camouflaged. For the outline, we can make out that the design and the styling of the compact SUV will be based on the CURB concept that Hyundai displayed at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. Although nothing much is known about the technical and dimensional details of upcoming Hyundai SUV, it is rumored to be sub-4-metre to avail the tax benefits and will be available in petrol and diesel engine options.
This mini SUV will be one of the 4 models Hyundai plans to launch by 2014 including the 2014 Hyundai i10. We are pretty much sure that this car is headed our way, as the compact SUV and MUV segment is heated-up and with Ford EcoSport, Duster and the Ertiga. Expect the upcoming Hyundai compact SUV to make its debut sometime late-2014 and just like other Hyundai cars these will also be launched globally including India.
