Mahindra and Mahindra has more than a couple of interesting cards to play, we will be seeing the revamped version of its flagship model Mahindra Xylo MPV most probably on January 20th. So far no dropped camouflage image of facelifted Mahindra Xylo surfaced on net, now TheAutomotiveIndia forum member has added, what could be the image of the facelifted Xylo MPV. By the looks of it, the Mahindra Xylo sees plenty of cosmetic changes to make it look different from the existing model.
The front end sees a complete revamp, beginning with the headlamps and the grille, which are both redesigned to look sharper than before. The bumper and fog lamps too see changes in the facelifted Xylo while the alloy wheel design is also new. All in all, the facelifted Xylo, like the facelifted Innova, looks quite different from the existing variants.
Logically there must be some strategy behind why the auto major scheduled the launch in January when it could have launched it at the Auto Expo. Quite obviously the renowned utility vehicle manufacturer wouldn’t want the two SsangYong SUVs Rexton and Korando E to overshadow the new Xylo’s share of limelight. At the same time it cannot defer the launch until a later time as all new Toyota Innova will be launched right at the Auto Expo, which is basically why the domestic car manufacturer has considered a facelift in the first place.
