More images of the Royal Enfield Meteor have leaked online. The pictures say the motorcycle could be named ‘Fireball Meteor 350’.
These appear to be leaked screenshots from the official online configurator. One of the pictures shows the Rs. 1,68,550 price tag which might include some accessories.
The Fireball Meteor 350 has a circular headlamp with a daytime moving LED light ring around it, an instrument cluster with twin-pod, stepped seat and circular tail lamp. The new motorcycle could be sold in bright color choices like yellow and red, much like the Thunderbird X.
The alloy wheels also receive pinstripes which suit the fuel tank colour. The motorcycle will come with a range of optional accessories. A tinted flyscreen is likely to be offered as an optional accessory costing Rs. 1,750. Just like every other Royal Enfield motorcycle, there will be several more accessories available with the motorcycle.
The reports suggest that the Meteor is based on the J-platform. It could be having a new engine with a 346-499cc size. It has front-facing telescopic fork suspension and rear twin shock absorbers. The leaked pictures show that the bike with dual-channel ABS even gets disk brakes at both ends.
As India is currently under lockdown, we should expect that Royal Enfield to soon formally reveal the Fireball Meteor 350’s price and specifications in the coming months.
