Ford India is set to introduce a facelifted version of their iconic 2020 Ford Mustang in India soon. As per reports, the Mustang facelift will be finally arriving here early next-year. It was earlier being said that the vehicle was to be launching in India by the end of 2020.
But the recent delays in production have shifted its launch possibly to early 2021. At present, the Mustang does not feature on the Ford website as the automaker recently managed to phase it out. However, Ford did say that an update was being planned for the Mustang and it will be coming back soon to India.
On design, the facelifted 2020 Ford Mustang does feature a couple of noticeable changes as compared to the previous model. These include a redesigned bonnet, new LED headlamps and of course a new chin with airflow-shaping vanes. The 2020 Ford Mustang facelift will also be receiving a couple of additional features as compared to its predecessor.
Some of these include a multi-functional steering wheel, hill start assist and lane departure warning to name a few. It is also being reported that the vehicle will be having the option of a 5.0 litre V8 motor coming here. This engine makes a massive 445 BHP of power along with 533 Nm of torque.
It will likely be coming mated with options of a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. Ford will be looking at the new import rules here to play a part in bringing back the Mustang here. It may be priced at around INR. 75 lakh once it gets launched in the country next-year.
