We finally have our first look at the interior of the upcoming Tata 45X (Tata Aquilla), thanks to GaadiWaadi.com for sharing the interior and instrument cluster photos of a test mule undergoing testing.
At first glance, it is clear the 45X’s cabin shares more in common with the recently unveiled Tata Harrier. This is most obvious by the shape of a semi-digital instrument cluster, a floating-type touchscreen infotainment unit, silver band that runs the length of the dash at the bottom and a sporty leather-wrapped 3-spoke, flat bottom, multi-function steering wheel with silver accents.
The knobs for the automatic climate control look similar to those seen in the upcoming flagship product from Tata Motors. You can see a 12V charging port is placed below the climate control console. From the above spyshots, the engine start/stop button on the right hand side of the steering wheel and its gear knob has chrome detailing is visible.
The second image is claimed to be of the 45X’s instrument cluster. The company will offer FIRST-IN-THE-SEGMENT an analogue speedometer on the right and a digital screen consisting of the tachometer and MID on the left. This semi-digital instrument cluster is not available in any B-segment hatchbacks currently sold in India.
