Honda have unveiled the 2019 CBR150R for the Indonesian market. This will also mark the global debut of the motorcycle. Coming to its India launch, Honda have not yet made any decision regarding its launch.
It may look likely that Honda will introduce the motorcycle here, given the popularity of fully-faired affordable sports bikes. Coming back to the CBR150R, Honda offers it in various colour schemes, namely Matte Black, Victory Black Red, Honda Racing Red and the MotoGP edition. The CBR150R will also be fitted with the services of ABS in the safety front.
On design, the CBR150R will have a muscular fuel tank, attractive stickers, dual-tone exhaust and split seats. Features include a digital instrument console, LED headlamps with blinkers, front and rear disc brakes and of course, ABS. On the front the CBR150R will receive telescopic front forks and the rear will be having a mono-shock suspension.
The 2019 CBR150R will employ a 150cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, four valve engine. This engine delivers 17.1 BHP of power and 14.4 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox, in which power is transferred to the rear wheel.
We can expect prices to be touching the Rs. 2 lakh mark for the top-spec trims. It will rival the likes of the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF. We can expect Honda to make a decision regarding the launch of the motorcycle soon.
