Hyundai is all set to give its popular SUV, the Creta a mid-cycle facelift. Launch will take place in mid-2018 for this facelifted SUV. As we are nearing the launch, there have been quite a few pictures of the car clicked recently which are doing the rounds in the internet.
These pictures are of the Creta facelift comma which was spotted undisguised, without any camouflage. Sources say that the car was clicked during a TVC shoot. In these spy images, the Creta is sporting a hexagonal grill with Chrome surroundings and swept back LED DRLs.
The company will give the Creta facelift a wide range of engines. One is a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine giving 123 BHP of power and 151 Nm of torque. As far as the diesel one is concerned Hyundai, will give two options: one a 1.4-litre engine giving 89 BHP of power and the other a 1.6-litre engine capable of delivering 126 BHP of power.
There will be an option of a 6-speed automatic transmission, along with a six-speed manual transmission. On the features front, the Hyundai Creta facelift will get the option of sunroof and dual tone alloy wheels. We can expect an updated touchscreen infotainment system, with necessary changes.
It is no surprise that Hyundai will that be on the Creta, after all it was the car that ended the company’s SUV jinx here. Prices are expected to start at Rs.13 lakhs and go all the way till Rs.20 lakhs. It will rival the likes of the Jeep Compass, Renault Duster and Mahindra XUV 500.
