As reported earlier today, Royal Enfield has updated its entire range for 2017 model year in the UK. The entire lineup now comes equipped with ABS. Price in the UK starts from £9,999 (INR 8.2 lakh).

On the 2017 Himalayan, the motorcycle also comes equipped with Fuel Injection (FI) in the UK market. In developed countries, the emission norms are stricter than that of India, thus, its mandatory for Royal Enfield to equip Himalayan with Fuel Injection, instead of carburettor as seen on the India-spec model. Even in North America, the Himalayan will be offered with ABS as well as FI.
In India, the Himalayan is expected to get Fuel Injection (FI) as well as Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) next. While in other markets, the launch of 2017 Himalayan will take place later over the next few months in phase manner.
