Celebrating 50 lakh sales mark CB Shine from its Tapukara (Rajasthan) manufacturing plant, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the all-new 2017 Honda Shine commuter motorcycle with a BSIV compliant engine and Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature.
The new 2017 CB Shine sports enhanced premium looks with shining chrome finish muffler, 3D emblem on the tank, redesigned tail lamp and a new carburettor cover, New Athletic Blue Metallic and Imperial Red Metallic colours.
The 2017 Honda Shine’s BSIV Optimax engine develops 10.16 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The HET engine helps the bike reach a top speed of 93 KMPH (claimed).
A total of 3 variants are on offer, the entry-level drum variant with drum brakes on both wheels, the disc variant with a 240 mm disc brake and a CBS variant that comes with Honda’s patented Combi-Braking system.
