Honda 2-Wheelers India has introduced the fourth-generation Activa 110cc automatic scooter with BSIV compliance, AHO and small cosmetic changes, called the ‘Activa 4G’.
Apart from the BSIV and AHO which will become mandatory from 1st April 2017, as per Indian Government. The Activa 4G also gains a new front centre cover design (apron) and a 4G sticker on the side panel. The new model gains a mobile charging socket as well as a front hook which might come in handy to load some groceries.
Honda has also added two new colours – Matte Selene Silver Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic to their Activa 110’s palette, which already included 6 colour options: Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Trance Blue Metallic, Geny Grey Metallic, Pearl Amazing White and Majestic Brown Metallic.
Although tweaked to meet the BS IV emission norms, the Activa 4G continues to be powered by the same 109 cc engine from the 3G which makes 8 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm (up from 8.83 Nm) @ 5,500 rpm. Prices for the 2017 Activa 4G have been raised by Rs 440. The new model is priced at Rs. 50,730/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
