The German automobile website has just published some pictures of the next generation Hyundai i10 and from what we see, the rendering seems pretty much like the car from the spyshots which keep on surfacing on to the interweb every now and then. The next generation of the mass market car is due for a launch this year and as the official unveiling comes closer, the foilage on the car will become lesser by with each passing day.
From the spyshots and the rendering, what we can clearly make out is that the quarter glass merging into the C-Pillar is something for sure we’ll see on the production version of the car. The car will be produced for Europe in Turkey and the production facility at the Turkish plant is currently being ramped to produce the volume car from the year 2013 onwards.
The i10 will also spawn a compact sedan and the Turkish topgun of Hyundai has confirmed it too. The latest version of the car will borrow design cues from its elder siblings i20 and i30. It will go on sale in 3 door and 5 door models and we believe the three door model will be the top of the line variant. It will be quite a niche product and our county may not even get it seeing that the niche offerings hardly become successful in our country.
The car will come with a 1.1 litre and a 1.2 litre petrol motor but we believe that it might just get a diesel heart too seeing that the petrol prices in the country are a bit too steep. The next generation Hyundai i10 is due for a launch at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September this year and we believe that it will reach the Indian roads after an official launch at the Auto Expo at Greater Noida in early 2014. And we await the car’s launch.
