Vardenchi T5 Custom Roadster – FrontView
At the Auto Expo this year, there were many new launches and exciting displays by various manufacturers from across the globe. Well, that did not stop our Indian brand, Vardenchi motorcycles from showing off their awesome capability. The Mumbai based motorcycle brand, which is famously known for its custom jobs on motorcycles like, KTM’s, Harley Davidson’s and Royal Enfields etc. is now getting into production of motorcycles and they also displayed one of their upcoming products, named the Vardenchi T5. Vardenchi has also teamed up with Italian motorcycle manufacturer MotoMorini and will also put on sale the MotoMorini 1200 Granpasso and 1200 Scrambler which too were on display at the Auto Expo.
The T5 custom Roadster is a cruiser motorcycle from Vardenchi, which comes with a Trellis Frame which is designed in such a way that it gives the bike a unique style, never seen before on a cruiser motorcycle. It also gets the LED treatment for both head-lamps and tail-lamps. Even though the bike was designed and will be built in India, a majority of the components are imported from across the world; the whole engine for instance is imported from Italy, where it is manufactured by MotoMorini. The engine in question is a 1187cc V-twin and even though power figures were not revealed, we expect it to be really powerful. The Suspension duties are handled by Marzocci upside-down forks up front, and an Ohlins Mono-shock at the rear. Braking is taken care of by Brembo, with Dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear which are fitted on 19-inch spoked wheels and 17-inch spoked wheels respectively.

The pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs. 8-12 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and will compete against established manufacturers like Harley-davidson and triumph. The prcing seems like it’s a bit too high for a new motorcycle, but in a market like this, one can be surprised.
Coming to the MotoMorini models, the Granpasso 1200 and the Scrambler 1200, both will be powered by a 1200cc oversquare V-twin.
Both the motorcycles will be sold in India, but since they will come in as Completely-Built Units, their prices too will be on the higher side. These two motorcycles are expected to be priced between Rs. 27-32 Lakhs (ex-showroom)
