Chevrolet has launched the facelifted Beat at the Auto Expo 2014. The car has been launched at a price of Rs 4.06 lakhs for the base petrol variant while the top end diesel has been priced at Rs 6.10 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The facelifted Beat gets an all new grille, revised bumpers, re-profiled tail lights with the headlamps getting reworked as well. Its chrome rich grille is the most distinctive feature up front.
The facelifted Beat gets all new fog lamps with an all new chrome casing as well. At the rear you get LED inserts for the stoplight and the rear spoiler gets redesigned as well. You get all new reflectors on the dual tone rear bumper of the car. So much so for the exterior. The car will get the same 1.0 litre diesel motor, 1.2 litre petrol motor and the 1.2 litre petrol motor with LPG that power the current Beat.
Coming to the interiors, the Beat gets an all new silver interior which makes the car look a bit fresh. You get driver’s height adjustable seat as well and to ensure you have a nice audio experience, you get steering mounted audio controls on higher variants of the car. The top end variants will come shod with ABS, EBD and front airbags. The car will be available in a total of 10 variants.
The car will have a fuel efficiency of 25.44 km/l for diesel motor, 18.6 km/l for the petrol unit and 13.3 km/l for the LPG variant. It will be available in 8 colours to choose from: Super Red, Cocktail Green, Sandrift Grey, Switch Blade Silver, Summit White, Misty Lake, Linen Beige and Caviar Black. The Beat is a pretty youthful car and the same just got a bit more stylish with the facelifted version getting launched.
