South India based two-wheeler manufacturer, TVS Motors has finally unveiled its flagship high performance bike – the all new TVS Draken. For the Draken, TVS has given it a higher level of design differentiation over the regular RTR 160 and RTR 180, unlike the current RTRs where the bike looks almost the same from every angles.

Round the side, you’ll see the muscular exhaust peeking-out, the company calls it a high performance reverse free flow exhaust system. TVS Draken has a wheelbase of 1340 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm. It weighs just 134 kgs and has a 10-litre fuel tank.

What’s in the engine bay is pretty much expected – a 249.2cc, 4-valve, DOHC bike which uses liquid-cooling. It produces 38.50 BHP of power at 12,000 RPM and 23 Nm of torque at 9500 RPM. The Draken runs on 95 octane fuel with the company claimed mileage of 33.3 kmpl (not ARAI certified). The TVS Draken is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.

TVS Draken is not developed with the BMW Motorrad collaboration. Instead has been indigenously developed by the folks at TVS. The official unveil of the TVS Draken 250 is yet to happen shortly.
