Maruti Suzuki has not obtained decent sales of SX4 compared to other cars of its segment. In order to overcome this Maruti has made some slight modifications to exteriors of the sedan, rather we can say it as a mild-facelift. The facelift version of SX4 has been caught testing no. of times in different parts of India, and now like other Maruti cars, all-new 2013 SX4 sedan silently launched in the Indian car market. However, thankfully the company has not changed the prices for the updated SX4.
Maruti has left no stone unturned in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the interior and exterior of the car. On the exterior, the updated SX4 features a new stylish front-chrome grille, new front and rear bumpers, fog lamps with dual tone garnish, fresh version of the headlights and the new tail lamps, and two new colour options- Serene Blue and Granite Grey. The 2013 Maruti Suzuki SX4 has also got longer by 10mm, thanks to the new bumper design.
On the inside, the interior of the car is displaying a brand new dual shade of beige and black that gives cabin a premium feel. However, there is lot more regarding the interior of the car that has been showing a glimpse of the difference. For an instance, black and marble finish prints inside, Chrome finish inside handles and Chrome finish AC side louvers. Other convenience features include a electronically adjustable ORVMs with integrated blinkers, touchscreen audio system with GPS navigation and bluetooth connectivity.
Like the outgoing-model, the 2013 SX4 will be available in three fuel options such as diesel, CNG and petrol. If the statement of the company is to be believed then the SX4 petrol is competent enough to deliver the fuel efficiency of 16.7 kmpl, diesel version is competent to offer fuel efficiency of 16.7 kmpl and the CNG option is competent to deliver the fuel efficiency of 22.1 km/kg. It is available in a total of 10 variants, 5 in petrol, 4 in diesel and 1 in CNG. The CNG variant will be named SX4 Green VXi.
As we said above, Maruti has not modified the prices for revamped version of SX4. Like earlier, the VXI variant is bearing a price tag of Rs. 7.38 lakh, the diesel variant VDI is bearing the price tag of Rs. 8.27 lakh, the top-notch petrol version called ZXI is bearing a price tag of Rs. 8.25 lakh and ZDI variant is bearing a price tag of Rs. 9.22 lakh. Last but not the least, the most-sought after SX4 VXI version equipped with CNG fuel option is priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh.
