Jaguar is making inroads into the Indian luxury car market and knows it can’t afford to be slow to offer its very latest. This thinking explains why Jaguar will be bringing in the face-lifted XF by the third week on November 2011.
The car gets a new nose, XJ-like slit eyes and a mildly revised tail. Changes to the interiors are quite subtle through. The facelift could also serve as the launchpad for Jaguar’s new four-cylinder 2.2-litre diesel engine which makes great sense for fuel economy minded luxury car buyers. With an 188bhp on tap, performance will be more than the3-litre V6 diesel.
If priced well, the Jag has the potential to really take the fight to the German trio of BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
