The pictures of Tata Hexa snapped at a dealership in Gujarat, appeared online in Tata Hexa Facebook Group (Unofficial). The model spotted here is the top-end XT variant, which comes mated to 6-speed manual exclusively with a 4WD system and Tata’s Super Drive modes – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road.
The sales manual for the upcoming all-new Tata Hexa has been leaked onto the internet and shows us that the new flagship SUV will be offered across 14 variants with 6 automatic and 8 manual variants across 6 and 7-seater options. Also reveals that it will be available in two states of tune the Varicor 320 and Varicor 400 setups, as the Safari Storme.
The Hexa will be available in single engine option – 2.2-litre 4 cyl VariCOR turbodiesel in two states of tune viz., an entry-level Varicor 320 version develops 148bhp of power and 320Nm of torque, and a top-end Varicor 400 version develops 154bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. The engine with Varicor 320 power tune is offered with 5-speed manual gearbox, while the other with Varicor 400 is offered with 6-speed manual gearbox.
A total of 14 variants on offer – XM 4×2 (7-Seater), XM 4×2 (6-Seater), XT 4×2 (7-Seater), XT 4×2 (6-Seater), XT 4×4 (7-Seater), XT 4×4 (6-Seater), XMA 4×2 (7-Seater), XMA 4×2 (6-Seater), XMA 4×4 (7-Seater), XMA 4×4 (6-Seater), XTA 4×2 (7-Seater), XTA 4×2 (6-Seater), XE 4×2 (7-Seater) and XE 4×2 (6-Seater). Opposed to the previous reports this leaked manual also reveals that the Hexa will get the 4×4 automatic option.
