BA readers know that Bajaj Auto is working on two new variants of Pulsar’s, 150 NS and 180 NS. Both were spotted testing together earlier this-year in Pune. These are the most revealing photos of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS yet, and the bike has been inspired from their best looking 200NS.
Bajaj Pulsar 150NSThis test-mule shares a lot of the design elements from its 200cc sibling including the under belly exhaust. The biggest update on 150 NS is the introduction of a rear monoshock suspension. The 150 NS also gets kick start and single elongated seating. The Pulsar 150NS on test sported a 100/90 section Eurogrip rear tyre as also seen on Pulsar 150, with a foot-rest similar to that on the Pulsar 135 LS.
The Pulsar 150NS will sport the new 10-spoke, light weight alloy wheels and new petal disk brake at the front, which will further help to improve its performance.
In terms of power, the 150NS is expected to receive more power that the current 150cc version. Sporting a 149cc four stroke, air cooled, single cylinder engine with DTS-I technology, the 150 NS is slated to be the most advanced bike in its segment. It is also likely to be quicker than the current model and lighter in weight. Reduction in weight may also witness better fuel efficiency levels.
